Hmmm. Homeless shelters. The "upper middle class" (and others) providing free food, clothing, and shelter to those who can't or won't provide for themselves. Orphanages. The "upper middle class" providing free food, clothing, shelter, and education to children whose extended family can't or won't provide for them. Prisons. The "upper middle class" providing free food, clothing, and shelter to those who willfully violate the rights of others, while preventing them from doing further harm. Missions and halfway houses similarly. Yes, it IS fucking awesome, and probably exactly what Jesus would want us to do.
